Behind Every Business is a Passionate Team.

Our team is committed to fostering the growth of The POD Initiative within the community. This requires extensive behind-the-scenes efforts, and I’m excited to introduce them to you.

It's important to know that this team work full time jobs and commit to The POD in their free time for free.

Darren Davis - Co-Founder &  Managing Director.

Darren is a co-founder & managing director of The POD Initiative. Having spent eight years in the Armed Forces and battled PTSD, he has embarked on a transformative journey of healing to become the best version of himself. He is supported by his wife, Carly, and together they have two wonderful children.

With a robust career in business, Darren specialises in geospatial fields and the adoption of geo-technology, which he applies daily to provide for his family.

Darren enjoys networking and connecting with others. Much of his time is dedicated to family life as they raise their young children, but he also priorities community engagement through The POD.

In addition to his professional and personal commitments, Darren is passionate about mental health advocacy. Drawing from his own experiences with PTSD, he actively participates in workshops and discussions aimed at breaking the stigma surrounding mental health issues. Through his efforts, he seeks to empower individuals facing similar struggles to understand that healing is possible and support is available.

By engaging with local communities & organisations, he shares his story to inspire young minds to embrace their challenges and pursue their passions fearlessly. This commitment not only enriches the lives of young people but also fosters a stronger, more connected community.

"To be happy, you must eliminate two things... The fear of a bad future and the memory of a bad past" - Darren Davis.
